EU serialization and tamper-evident packaging.

17/07/2018 - label printing

Are you ready?

Starting 9 February 2019, the “Falsified Medicines Directive” (Directive 2011/62/EU, amending Directive 2001/83/EC) will require that prescription drug medicines in the EU have to be equipped with the following features:

  • a unique identifier: a serialized data-matrix code with human readable information
  • an anti-tampering device or tamper verification feature

With the deadline of this directive approaching, Reynders presents a unique solution: tamper evidence with serialization. We offer pre-serialized TE labels, to greatly simplify your production process.

How does it work? We print your serialized codes on a TE label of your choice that can be enhanced with additional security features.

We take up the whole process of printing and controlling the codes. No need for you to make complex investments in hardware and software. And what’s even better: we deliver these labels in a few days so you can have all the flexibility.

Stay informed of the latest details of the FMD directive and contact Bart, Stijn or Mark.
